I built this site by hand in XHTML and CSS.
My Ruby on Rails sites are hosted on Heroku, and my open source projects are served up on Github. I think both companies are vital to the Rails community.
Thanks to Matt Knox for his fabulous, intensive Ruby on Rails classes, which were held at Sermo; and to Michael Bowers for writing the authoritative CSS book Pro CSS and HTML Design Patterns.
I have received guidance, mentoring, and inspiration from many members of the Boston Ruby Users Group (boston.rb email list) (IRC). I am happy to be a member, and I attend as many meetings as I can. Also, the larger open-source Rails community centered around github is important to me. I feel supported and inspired by talented developers, and by all the work and effort that is being released and shared all the time.
