I have a bachelor's degree in Theoretical Computer Science (18c) from M.I.T. After several years of working as a computer programmer, I worked in human services for several years. I completed one year of a Masters in Social Work program, and worked for the Boston Dept. of Public Health.
Four years ago I returned to IT work (self-employed full-time until 2010). I started learning Ruby on Rails shortly thereafter. I am now devoted full-time to Ruby on Rails projects.
I've been studying and working with Ruby on Rails for 3 years. I would prefer a full-time employment position, but would consider the right contract or contract-to-perm position.
